I'm an extremely faithful person. The Husband would tell you that I'm very boring person to buy for, and he'd be right. That's mostly because if I find something I like, and it works, then I don't want to change it. So lets say that I buy a pair of shoes, and they fit, and they're beautiful and comfortable. The next pair I'll buy will probably be of the same brand. Same with handbags, watches, scarves, sunglasses... If I find something I like and it works, why should I change? He says boring, I say faithful. ;)

If I discover a new fantastic singer, writer, artist, chances are I'd give at least a try to everything they've done before. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. If I like the way somebody reads fics, then I'd give a try to anything they read, regardless of the fandom. And boy, does it works! Up until now, the journey has been wonderful, and I'm delighted. I've been introduced to wonderful new fandoms, and to fantastic people, too. I have podfics from SGA, Glee, Die Hard, Merlin, Sherlock...

Feedback is really important, and sometimes it grates on me how little feedback podfic readers receive. In my opinion, reading correctly a fic is an art, and it should be regarded as one, too. Their voices bring words to life, and they give new energy to fics you've read a lot of times before. If they're good, their readings have new subtle changes that make the fics new and unexpected.

So as a small token of thanks for two of them, my wonderful shiningartifact and podklb, I made each of them a cover for their terrific stories, New Rule and Forever, Now.






Both their stories are Bandom, but as all their work is magnificent, (as you probably already know,) I highly recommend everything form them. Please, go to both their pages and download everything, you won't be disappointed. Their AI work is amazing. They're funny, sweet, tender and OMG! so hot, and their readings are like the wine that accompanies a good meal, bringing out new fragrances and nuances of meaning you never noticed before.

The Husband, V, is sweet. Right now, he's not talking to me much,(and when I say much I really mean at all) but it's temporary, don't worry. He doesn't see the absolutely magnificence of having three wives. I told him that jerakeen is mysterious and deep, and that you are incredibly funny and sexy, but so far my plan towards polygamy is not working very well.

Don't worry, I shall prevail! We won't be denied our right to live under the same roof and plot world domination!

Have you ever heard something from these guys? They're amazing! The best ever! I could listen to them reading the Yellow Pages. They're gifted!

Why do you think Jer would laugh? Isn't she deep? Isn't she mysterious? She's all profound and perceptive, and stuff. Well, when she has enough time, that's all. Right now, the poor little thing barely remembers her own name, what with being busy at work and with her home full of invaders.

Oh, boy, to be you right now and meet Podklb for the first time! You're going to LOVE her, her voice is like... hot chocolate dripping down your spine,so sweet and warm. Her diction is amazing. You'll see.

She wondered what people would bid on for the Pakistan relief auction. I told her I'd bid on getting to pick the date for her vacation. She's ignoring that suggestion.

I would totally bid on that, too. I've been asking her when is she going to rest, but she looks the other way. She's so responsible, really, it's a curse.

I offered to make some posters, or covers for podfics at Help-Pakistan. If she's going to offer the date, then I'll bid on that.

My first request was she offer more of the boxes of Istanbul, but she wondered if people would bid if it was Rose Petal jam. I've never had rose petal jam, and promised to bid if she promised to make it herself. I got a heart round of eye-rolling.

I am not particularly deep - I would actually argue that I'm incredibly shallow - but I can be mysterious.

Okay, no, I can't.

But anyway, do not think you can use the words "jerakeen" and "wife" in the same sentence and get away with it. They are just not compatible. They disrupt the cosmic balance. And, like, the space time continuum.

I think she meant the "wife" thing metaphorically. But I would get sucked into a black hole myself if anyone said that word too loudly in my general direction. I was trying to get her parent to adopt me and take me on a Mediterrean cruise with them at the time.

I would defend your honor on the deep and mysterious thing, except I don't know that it makes any sense to defend it TO you. You may not see yourself as deep and mysterious, so how about opinionated and bossy. No? Actually, I would say that's me. So you're shallow and ___________(fill in the blank)?

We can be anything we want and sit at the beach all day, or under a nice shady tree, and read fic. And listen to podfic. And go out to eat in nice resturants. I think it sounds like a great life.

Adam concert is August 31. I can't wait. Have you seen the video from the concert this week where he went into the audience and was kissing fans (one guy, one girl, he's laughing his head off and then sings this unbelievable high note)?

I DID! This guy is going to kill me!

I completely agree. The fan board that I read almost had a stroke. It made a few people nervous, but most everyone was trying to figure out how to go to a concert where it might happen again.

I don't actually think he should make an habit of it. It's insane, and funny, and he's having a great time, and it's obviously just for fun and giggles, but that's not the kind of press he needs right now.

I sound so old! Let me try to express myself better. I think that Adam needs to solidify his position as a serious artist, and not a summer thing. I actually think he's an amazing performer, that can blow your mind with his voice and he doesn't need fireworks or fire or random kissing to make people go to his concerts.

But if the kind of press he gets is not how amazing he sounds or how beautiful his show is, but he kisses people whenever... It's like they don't take him seriously. And I think that's a shame, because his potential is unbelievable.

Rose Petal jam. I'm not really fond of jam, so I won't probably bid on that. And I once tried Rose Petal Ice cream at an Indian Restaurant and didn't like it, either. I think the smell reminds me too much of a rosary.


My school was a female catholic one, and every afternoon, from 15:30 to 16:00, we all prayed Rosary in our classrooms. The smell of the beads of the rosary, made from rose petals, still makes sleepy. That's not very conductive to a healthy appetite, really.

The first one is very cool! I really like the contrast between the coloured text banner and the b/w, whited out pictures.

The second one is GORGEOUS! I love the way it evokes the setting and atmosphere of the story and the colouring and composition is lovely.
