Yay.

The problem is she doesn't want me to write my WIPs. I know, right? WTF?

That's why right now I'm kind of struggling with one of the corniest plots ever until I'll beat it into submission.

It's so, so corny, I'm ashamed of myself.

La verdad es que parece una decisión difícil de tomar. Lo mejor es esperar y ver que pasa, por lo pronto hasta que ellos no tomen la decisión no sirve de nada preocuparse.

Las dos quedan casi dos horas, pero la del primer trabajo está más cerca a la casa de mi tía. Entonces, es bien conveniente.

Pues, en este caso probablemente mudaría a su casa por un mes, o alrededor de eso mientras busco un apartamento. Ella vive más o menos 6 kilómetros de escuela, 15 minutos por coche.

You should probably also try imp's Beyonce The Vampire Slayer, it's some kind of amazing. Excellent characters, plot that makes you take leaps of intuition, and overall badassness.

I loved how real it felt. How the guys didn't care about Ray being a girl, until the world reminds them that she's not a guy. I mean, sometimes, Gerard is actually surprised when ray reminds him that there are some things that she can't do, or places she can't be. And he's insulted, he's personally affronted when the fact that Ray is a girl matters more to some people than the she's a musician.

And Mikey, his problems, his relationship with the band, with Ray...I love how perfectly well the author portrayed them all, making him a real person. I loved the story, it's fantastic. One of the best things I've ever read.

I'll try the Beyonce one. I trust you taste. =)

How the guys didn't care about Ray being a girl, until the world reminds them that she's not a guy. I mean, sometimes, Gerard is actually surprised when ray reminds him that there are some things that she can't do, or places she can't be.

It's interesting how impertinence incorporates that change in attitude, though, because at first, Gerard draws Rae as a guy, sans boobs, and she - and Mikey, too - is a little taken aback. Mikey's more affronted, though, he's the one who, throughout the entire story, sees that it doesn't matter that she's female. It matters to everyone else, it matters to Rae, because they underestimate her, and it comes across in their 'tudes; it makes her defensive and hide a little sometimes. But towards the middle, even, the rest of the band absolutely adopts Mikey's attitude, and that's really why I love this fic. It's better than brotherhood or sisterhood, because it's gender-neutral. It's just love.

I think she did an excellent job with Mikey, too. This was the first fic where I actually enjoyed Mikey, and then went on to read more Mikey fic. Only a few solid ones, though, because I found the majority of people who wrote fic around him didn't have a particularly good characterization down. It was usually fairly juvenile, or undeveloped.
