I think it's about time we had a cake at kradamadness. I'm tempted to try baking one myself.

Last time, my story wasn't one of the first to be chosen, so maybe it'll happen the same this time.

But that doesn't really mean anything! Artists choose stories by reading a couple sentences of summary - which doesn't really tell you all that much about the whole thing.

How's that going to work with the art, I wonder. Will you just post a preview or a whole piece?

I want to try and give a proper structure to the Epilogue of Doom, and I thought I could use the same deadline of this challenge to force myself to write. That's why I want to sit this one out.

Art is easier for me, I don't have to fight against language in order to make art. But you'll be reading the Epilogue while I write it, until you get sick of me, dear.

The poor epilogue- such a fierce title it kinda scares me. This is architect!Adam, right? As always, I'm happy to meddle in your writing.

I'm pants at baking. The Husband makes an awesome brownie, though.

Will you just post a preview or a whole piece?

To be honest, I'm not really sure. I'm really fond of movie posters, I love them and I think they're funny and they usually look fine, so I'm probably going to make one of those. And if the writer is okay with that, I would love to make some dividers like I did with cleverboots's piece, or maybe some scenes of the fic. That way, the art grows at the same time than the story.

LOL! Yeah, the Epilogue of Doom is a little harsh, I think. But I have two scenes written and three pages of notes, and I keep scavenging the poor notes for other fics. I'm afraid it's never going to be finished.

Right now, I have this insane bunny in my head where Adam and Kris meet the Killjoys, (from the new My Chemical Romance's universe) and they run across the desert trying to fight the new order, with dirty jeans, primary colors, neon hair and body paint.

I'm sick, I know it.

I totally want to sign up for the reverse bigbang (as an artist), but it's so weird trying to think of making art that's not for a fic! I'm going to have to try and come up with an awesome idea, the challenge is too cool to resist.

I actually started working yesterday. It was hard, to be honest, but I thought: "What's the story I really, really need to read?" And then It came to me.

It's a great, great challenge. I'm really excited.
