When I'm busy, busy, busy...

When you're busy like hell, apparently making covers for podfics can relax you.
Honestly.

Well, at least it relaxes me. Who needs to sleep, right? Sleep is totally overrated. I also made art for the BRBB, and I'm really excited. It's going to be so much fun!






You already know I'm not ashamed of my crush on podklb, and I'm not going to justify myself. She's one of the best, and I love everything she does. She can read the Yellow Pages, and I'd download the podbook and listen to it enthralled for hours and hours.

I made her some covers for her last projects, and I strongly suggest you to go and download them because they're amazing.

One of these days, I'm going to make a big poster with all the covers I've made for her, and it will be the background of my podklb's altar, not that I'm creepy or something.

For both podklb and shiningartifact I made a cover of bexless's story: Outside the Rules. It's such a funny story, with Adam and Gerard and it never fails to bring a smile to my face.



I also made another cover for shiningartifact's WIP, the amazing More Myself with You by jerakeen, but I'm not sure if it's a secret or not, so I'm not going to post it yet. Yes, I'm a tease. =)





One of the best things this last quarter of the year brought is that I met knight_tracer. She's lovely, she has a great voice and she lets me play with her, so I made her covers, because that's how I say I love you, apparently. (My husband is feeling so neglected right now, poor little thing, and he doesn't even know why)

The first cover I made her is for arsenicjade's Discipline and Punish's verse, which is epic and deserves a cover way better than mine, but until some real artist steps ahead and decides to do it justice, this cover would have to suffice.



She then told me she was thinking about recording sunsetmog's Sea Change, one of my favourite sad stories, probably the saddest, and I begged her to let me made the cover, because I have feelings for that story, okay? Feelings that I have to share with the world if I don't want them to explode from my chest like the Alien creature and devour everything around me.

Obviously she said yes, I mean, I was so vehement she couldn't refuse, and thus this cover was born.



I love when I can work with the reader, they're so insightful and they're so helpful...it's delicious to work with them.


And the last cover I made for knight_tracer is her birthday present, a surprise I'll share with you all in a few days, okay?




I'm afraid I'm forgetting a cover, but I can't seem to remember... =/

Holy crap. Yeah. Who needs sleep? Podfic covers are better! (No, seriously, though. You need sleep. Even if these are fantastic. You still need sleep. <3)

Also: quick question on the scarves. Have you got a website up for them? I cannot remember, and I think my stepmom needs some pretty around her neck for Christmas.

Te juro que quiero dormir, pero es que tengo la sensación de que me pierdo cosas mientras estoy acostada, y encima parece que tan pronto como me acuesto, viene la inspiración y me ataca con nuevas ideas. Es extenuante.

Aún no hemos subido las fotos a la página web. Tenemos intenciones de hacerlo esta semana, tan pronto como estén te doy la dirección para que mires a ver si te gusta algo. En principio, toda la producción va para Milán, pero si se te antoja una pieza quizás pueda duplicarla para tí. Lo que no te puedo garantizar es que la tengas en Madrid antes de irte. ¿Cuando vuelas de vuelta a los Estados Unidos? Creo que vamos ajustadas de tiempo. Ya no recuerdo lo que tardaron en llegarte los libros cuando los envié, creo que entre una semana y diez días, si no me equivoco.

Me alegro de que quieres (quieras? dammit, I'm tired) dormir, ¡pero no solo tienes q intentarlo! Pues, conozco a muchas personas que ponen un cuaderno al lado de la cama para cuando tengan la inspiración. Algunos me han dicho de que tienen un horario fijo para que cuando vayan a la cama, y uno o dos días a la semana en q puedan quedarse despertados y trabajar en lo q les inspire. O, puedes sufrir. Preferiría que no hagas eso. :-(

¡Estupendo! (I'm not making fun of you, just trying to use a word *other* than "¡Fenomenal!" Swear to god, I say it at least ten times a day. It's getting exhausting.) Mi vuelto a los Estados Unidos es el 18/19 de diciembre. Tardaron...si, entre una semana y diez días, pero si vendes todo en Milan (y claro que sí lo harás porque las bufandas son...¡fenomenales!...(no, de veras, son) puedo comprar una para su cumpleaños que viene. No hay demasiado prisa!
